Privacy Presentation

The privacy presentation was true. We are losing our privacy online.  There are ways around privacy settings.  Social networks have privacy settings, but there are ways around them. A friend on your friend’s account can look on your account to see information about you. If your friend has his or her information set to where anybody can see, there is a good chance anybody can look at your post made on that friend’s wall.

You should have a different password for each account you have online.  Your Facebook log in should be a completely different password than your bank account log in. In the privacy presentation, they talked about changing passwords frequently, which sometimes it is hard to do because it is easy to forget your password once you changed it. If you have many passwords, it is easy to forget your password for an account. You might think it is a certain password, but later on realize it was a different one. I know how easy it is to get my passwords mixed up. I almost locked myself out of one of my account because of it. I got lucky on the last try to log in. Some accounts you can try to log in until you give up.
